Micro mystery
Last week I wrote about safety, and I got a lot of responses via both the comments section of the post and email.
In the column last week, I promised to keep things light this week, so I thought I’d send out a micro mystery challenge. We include one of these in each print issue.
These are all fairly common wood shop items, but taken at very close distance. Comment on what you think the items are. I’d be impressed if anyone can get them all.

1- driver bit shaft
2 – Veritas handplane
3 – carving gouge
4 – handle of carving gouge or turning tool
5 – end of tape measure
6 – Bessey K-body
7 – Robertson screw head
8 – yeah… something Festool
9 – ??
10 – cove bearing router bit
11 – sandpaper (80 or 800 grit)
12 – brass router guide bushing
13 – jointer cutterhead/blade
14 – Mitre saw angle guide
15 – bubble level
