Power carving – a practical approach with Rob Brown
Join studio furniture maker Rob Brown on April 29 at 7:00 PM for an informative talk on power carving.
Rob's blog: I have the power!
We all have our favourite parts of woodworking. My favourite thing to do might be adding texture to wood. Right behind that is power carving.
Project: This is a push-over
One of the most daunting woodworking shop tasks is ripping stock or parts on a table saw. Especially when the stuff is small and/or close to the rip fence. This simple jig will calm your mind, give you confidence and allow you to better control the workpiece while making ripping operations.

Don’t know what the problem is. It’s in the King Spring flyer for $399.99
Took me 1 min to look up price
I agree with Kelly. King is its own worst enemy or sales promoter. I have been interested in several of their products but after chasing things around the internet to find a price or dealer lose interest and have bought elswhere
I read about this compact saw with interest. It was less of a review and more of an ad. I I’m looking to buy my first table saw. I then clicked through to King’s website where there was a full page ad but no price. I then clicked through to dealers who may or may not have this particular model The link took me to their home pages, not a single one lead to this saw. Four links were broken. By this time I have begun to lose any interest in buying this saw. Price is an important criteria for me along with the features. Is the mrsp a secret? Is it something that can only be discussed in person? I live a distance from any of these dealers. Not the best way to sell a product. After 30 minutes I just gave up. Just my opinion.
