I would recommend western Red cedar as well. Still looking for a reliable supply here in the GTA. Anyone have a recommendation?
Sorry, but I’m a retired woodworker that couldn’t afford such products even though my wishes are for an endless supply. At this point, most of those I do work for are very pleased with the red cedar available here in BC. The grain and colour are phenomenal, and the life expectancy is great for outside projects. It finishes well, and deserves to be promoted on sites such as this.
