Clean Armor clear coat finishes now available in Canada
April 4, 2024
Mywoodcutters.com, a leading Canadian retailer of professional tooling to the woodworking trade, is pleased to announce that they are now the Canadian distributor for Clean Armor coatings.

Is this product able to be used on exterior wood furniture.?
Hi Blair: Wood Finish 700 is for interior use. Wood Finish 705 has UV blockers added to protect the wood from turning grey over time when exposed to UV (sun-) light, and it also has softeners added to make the finish more flexible to move with the wood under outdoor conditions.
Last summer, 2024, we ordered quite a bit of this product and we love it.
However we had to pay Custom duties as it was shipped from the US.
We are in need of some more but I want to know if shipping will be from Canada with no fees upon receiving it.
You will need to contact the supplier directly, as we publish a magazine, we don’t sell products. You can reach them, toll free at 1-855-699-6635.
Carl, I don’t see any reference to the UVreistance for outdoor projects. Does it follow that if the finish UV cures in the first place, it will be UV resistant outside?
Hi Alex: According to Clean Armor, their products are “non shrinking, UV protected, and highly resistant to all types of stressors.”. So I assume that the cured finish is UV resistant. I’ve not used their products – you cand also contact the company for additional details.
I literally just watched a you tube video on this and it looks amazing . In answer to a previous question , yes the creator of this product actually uses it and shows using it on guitars. I like the fact clean up or thin with rubbing alcohol. 🙂
How would this product perform on a split cane bamboo fly rod?
I am looking for a replacement for the epoxy resin finish on painted substrates and mixed media artwork.
Will this product work on other than wood surfaces? I see online that they have a product with the same name being used as an automotive clear coat
This stuff looks indistinguishable from the clear photo resins used for 3d printing, sold at roughly 6 times the price. It doesn’t help their case that the safety data sheet is suspiciously, and probably impermissibly, vague.
I am looking at up cured finishes for guitar finishing. I am an amateur luthier and think the finish would be ideal for handmade guitars. Would like pricing and shipping information for smaller quantities and also shipping information. I live in St. Stephen New Brunswick
Thanks in advance
Hi Terry: This is just a press release – we publish a magazine, we don’t sell products. You should contact the Clean Armor dealer directly at 855-699-6635.
