The kit comes in a durable, water-resistant nylon ripstop carrying case. At just under one pound it’s compact and light enough to carry in a toolbox, knapsack or on your belt. Inside the case are a pick and brush that you can use to loosen and remove the debris that can clog the articulating arm of multi-tools and work its way in between the narrow space between handle and blade. There is a small bottle of tool oil that you can use to lubricate pivot nuts and springs and a microfiber cleaning cloth for cleaning things up. The kit also contains a rubber work mat to protect work surfaces.
Also included is a Work Sharp knife sharpener that has 25° carbide blades (for sharpening dull blades), ceramic honing rods (for putting on a near-razor edge) and a 320-grit tapered diamond rod (for honing serrated blades).
There is ample room in the kit to store any additional cleaning or sharpening accessories you like to use, along with a few knives.
