At one time or another most of us have had a wireless device – smartphone, earbuds, headphones and the like – run out of battery power. The new Festool charger (PHC 18) makes it very easy to recharge any of these devices.

Attach any Festool battery (except the 3.1 Ah Ergo) to the charger, and if your mobile device uses inductive charging, lay it on top the charger. Within 2 or 3 hours your device will be recharged. It’s a good idea to remove your phone case, especially if it’s metal.

For non-inductive devices there are two USB ports – for either Type A or C cords. Use whichever port accepts your cable.

The charger, equipped with a battery, is small enough to take along with you to a job site, on a service call, in car or truck, to the cottage or beach – just about anywhere. You might not get a lot of use out of it, but when you do run out of battery power and a 120V receptacle isn’t close at hand you’ll be happy to have this charger at the ready.
