MT Center Gauge Uses a Floating Parallelogram to Keep On Center.

Strongsville, OH – Northeast Ohio tool manufacturer, Woodpeckers, recently announced its new MT Center Gauge. Squeeze the two sides of the gauge against your stock and the marking bar is perfectly centered. It can’t help it. It’s the simple geometry of a parallelogram. With a hole milled precisely in the center of each of the stainless steel marking bars, all you have to do to mark the center of any piece of stock is place a pencil in the hole and slide. And, to lay out a mortise or tenon centered on your stock, just mark both sides of the bar. It’s that simple. Each of the interchangeable marking bars has a specific width. You can get the MT Center Gauge with 1/4″, 3/8″, 7/16 ” and 1/2″ stainless steel marking bars or with 4mm, 5mm, 6mm, 8mm and 10mm, or the complete set with all 9.

Woodpeckers has focused on the needs of hobbyist woodworkers since 1988 and began manufacturing the majority of their offerings in 1993. The company makes precision layout tools, router tables and lifts, innovative clamping tools, carbide-tipped woodturning tools, carbide router bits and a wide variety of helpful shop products. Their facility houses a vast array of computer-controlled mills and lathes and employs over 100 skilled American workers.
