Strongsville, OH – Northeast Ohio tool manufacturer, Woodpeckers, recently announced its new Stainless Steel T-Squares. Woodpeckers aluminum T-squares have been among their top-selling products for years. Customers frequently comment on the accuracy of the scales and the convenience of the scribing guides. But Woodpeckers Stainless Steel Squares have attracted their own fans who prefer the patented saw-tooth scribing guides, thin blades and smooth, satin finish on the blades. So, to keep everyone happy, Woodpeckers incorporated the stainless steel blade design of the Precision Woodworking Squares into three new Stainless Steel T-Squares. Now you can use any type of marking tool to draw lines perfectly parallel to your material edge and enjoy the readability of our satin-finished stainless steel blades while working with a smaller, centrally located head.
The precision-machined aluminum head joins the stainless steel blade with a carefully engineered fit, placing the edge of the head at the exact “0” point of the scale. You can do your layout work with confidence, knowing your starting point is spot-on and the scale is laser-accurate. There’s a scribing guide every 1/16″ along the blade, shaped to accommodate almost any marking tool you want…mechanical pencils, wooden pencils, ink pens, permanent markers…even carpenter’s pencils. The blades are carefully deburred after cutting the scribing guides to ensure smooth travel and make sure you never scratch your material.
You can get the Stainless Steel T-Square in 12″, 24″ or 32″. The 12″ is ideal for work with solid stock and smaller projects. The 24″ and 32″ handle cabinet components and other sheet good projects. Each comes with a wall-mountable Rack-It to keep your tool right in plain sight and always ready for work.
Woodpeckers has focused on the needs of hobbyist woodworkers since 1988 and began manufacturing the majority of their offerings in 1993. The company makes precision layout tools, router tables and lifts, innovative clamping tools, carbide router bits and a wide variety of helpful shop products. Their facility houses a vast array of computer-controlled mills and lathes and employs over 100 skilled American workers.
