Woodpeckers announces new setup block sets

Strongsville, OH – Northeast Ohio tool manufacturer, Woodpeckers, announced their Setup Blocks have been converted from a OneTIME Tool to an always available permanent product. Woodpeckers Setup Blocks take the tiny lines on rules and tapes out of your life and replace them with a precise physical reference of fractional inch measurements. They’re a great way to set the height of saw blades and router bits and the depth of cut on your drill press. You can also use them to gauge the dimension of dadoes, grooves, and rabbets.

Woodpeckers president, Rich Hummel, said of the release, “Our Setup Blocks give the woodworker quick, clear and accurate measuring references. We’re proud to add them to our permanent product lineup.”

Blocks can be used individually or stacked in combination to hit a specific dimension. The generous 4” length is a big benefit at the table saw, simplifying the location of top dead center on saw blades.

The blocks are all machined to a tolerance of no more than ±.002″ on state-of-the-art CNC mills. In typical Woodpecker fashion, each block is anodized in their familiar bright red finish with the size of each block clearly laser engraved on the face.

Woodpeckers offers the Setup Blocks in several different sets, including a 10-piece metric set. You can build a complete set over time, or get them all at once. All sets come conveniently packaged and the full-boat 42-piece set can be purchased in a stackable Systainer.

Woodpeckers has focused on the needs of hobbyist woodworkers since 1988 and began manufacturing the majority of their offerings in 1993. The company makes precision layout tools, router tables and lifts, innovative clamping tools, carbide-tipped woodturning tools and a wide variety of helpful shop products. Their facility houses a vast array of computer-controlled mills and lathes and employs over 200 skilled American workers.
