Starrett Woodpecker CT blades feature aggressively angled carbide-tipped teeth that are precision-ground and triple-sharpened for superior cutting performance and high fatigue resistance for extended blade life, reduced cutting time and improved productivity. The blades also have a special steel backer material for added longevity and produce an excellent cutting finish.
Woodpecker CT blades are versatile, ideal in a range of applications and compatible with all types of saw machines. Prime applications include any soft, hard, abrasive or frozen woods, sawmills, and lumber processing, exotic woods, railroad ties and other challenging production sawing environments.
Blades are available in welded bands, in ½”, ¾”, 1”, 1 ¼” and 2” widths, in .032”, .035” and .042” thicknesses, and in 1.3 and 3 teeth per inch. Woodpecker CT teeth feature a positive rake and trapezoid set and produce kerf widths ranging from 0.051” to 0.068”.
