The RALI 220 Evolution Hand Plane features a precision laminated steel sole and anti-corrosion blackened steel side. It features an instant adjustment of blade depth by means of an eccentric cam and it has an adjustable throat opening and back plate. Its heavy sole gives it a good inertia for all kinds of wood.

Thanks to its clever design, no wood chips get caught between the blade and holder. The blade in the RALI plane is fastened by a clamping mechanism and is completely sealed. If the blade gets dull or has a nick while on a job, it can be replaced within seconds. The Rali comes with four chrome blades.  Each blade has two cutting edges so it can be rotated and used on both sides. Replacement blades are available in Chrome Steel and Hard metal.
