Optimal Thermal and Acoustical Insulation With OPTIMA

CertainTeed’s OPTIMA System Provides Excellent Thermal and Acoustical Insulation For Closed-Cavity Applications.

Optimal Thermal and Acoustical Insulation With OPTIMA

CertainTeed OPTIMA is a closed-cavity system of unbonded, blow-in insulation that is ideal for providing thermal and sound insulation in sidewalls, cathedral ceilings and other similar spaces.

The insulation is white, loose-fill virgin fiber glass designed for pneumatic machine installation behind non-woven OPTIMA fabric. It also can be used with InsulSafe® XC in the Blow-In-Blanket® System (BIBS®) and, because the insulation is blown in dry, walls and ceilings are immediately ready for drywall.

“Blown-in insulation is thermally efficient,” says Kate Campbell, well-know celebrity contractor and media personality. “That’s because it fills voids to provide higher R-values per inch – as well as exceptional sound control. With so many of today’s design plans call for vaulted ceilings, I find that CertainTeed blown-in insulation is the right choice.”

CertainTeed fiber glass insulation products are formaldehyde free and GREENGUARD Gold Certified for low chemical emissions during product usage. The insulation will not settle and resists mold and mildew.
