A new series of pen kits introduced by William Wood-Write is getting noticed for the quality of their parts, the precision of their fit and the uniqueness of their platings.
The kits feature thoughtful design and precision-engineered parts that fit together smoothly and flawlessly, as well as premium ink refills. They are eye-catching in their simplicity and will show off unique woods, resins and other turning materials to perfection.
The Odyssey rollerball pen kit has a spring clip and a unique etched cap that can be screwed onto the back of the pen while it is in use. Its relatively slim body makes it suitable for smaller hands, and the required tooling is in sizes commonly used in pen-making (25/64 drill bit and pen mill shaft). It comes in two unusual platings, matte black pearl and tin bronze, and includes a genuine Schmidt rollerball refill.
Kits are priced at $17.99 to $18.99 each, with volume discounts and mix and match pricing available.
The Voyager ballpoint pen kit is a simple, yet elegant pen kit with an ultra-smooth twist mechanism. It includes a genuine Schmidt P900 Parker-style ink refill and uses common pen kit tooling: drills and pilot shafts 25/64 and 15/32. The Voyager is available in matte black chrome and matte black pearl platings.
Kits are priced at $16.99 each, with volume discounts and mix and match pricing available.
