Strongsville, OH – Northeast Ohio tool manufacturer, Woodpeckers, recently announced its new Cam-A-Line Dowel Guide, combining variable spacing, precision-engraved centerlines, a robust fence and a versatile stop system to give you a versatile joinery tool in a compact package.

Cam-A-Line uses a sliding cam system to maintain even spacing between 3 drill guide bushings. You can space the bushings as close as 3/4″ center-to-center or spread them out up to 1-3/4″ center-to-center. This spacing range lets you have an evenly spaced three-dowel array on a workpiece from 2-1/4″ wide up to 5-1/2″ wide.

“The variable spacing is the most apparent feature of Cam-A-Line, but the adjustable fence and the reversible stop system help take this tool to another level,” said Woodpeckers president, Richard Hummel. He added, “With engraved centerlines in all directions, it’s easy to get the tool right where you want it.”

You have your choice of 4 different guide bushing sizes…1/4″, 5/16″, 3/8″ and 1/2″. You can get Cam-A-Line with just one size, or opt for the complete package which includes all 4 bushing sizes, extensions for the stop and a wall-mountable storage rack.

Woodpeckers has focused on the needs of hobbyist woodworkers since 1988 and began manufacturing the majority of their offerings in 1993. The company makes precision layout tools, router tables and lifts, innovative clamping tools, carbide-tipped woodturning tools, carbide router bits and a wide variety of helpful shop products. Their facility houses a vast array of computer-controlled mills and lathes and employs over 100 skilled American workers.
