Strongsville, OH – Northeast Ohio tool manufacturer, Woodpeckers, recently announced the new Align-A-Saw System. By replacing the blade of your table saw with a surface ground 3/8″ thick solid steel plate you have a longer, straighter and unobstructed reference for aligning your table top to the arbor or adjusting square and 45° stops. You can stop worrying about measuring between the teeth and dodging rosin and pitch build-up and dial in your saw precisely and quickly.
The system includes the Align-A-Saw Gauge in addition to the Align-A-Saw Plate. The Gauge is a thin, carefully machined stainless steel square sized and shaped perfectly for setting up table saws. The thin profile reveals even the slightest misalignment. A clever stand drops in the miter gauge track to keep the Gauge perpendicular to the plane of the blade. A cut-out in the base eliminates interference from table inserts.
Woodpeckers offers the two components individually or as a package deal with a wall-mountable storage case.
Woodpeckers has focused on the needs of hobbyist woodworkers since 1988 and began manufacturing the majority of their offerings in 1993. The company makes precision layout tools, router tables and lifts, innovative clamping tools, carbide-tipped woodturning tools and a wide variety of helpful shop products. Their facility houses a vast array of computer-controlled mills and lathes and employs nearly 200 skilled American workers.
